Youthspeaks 2009

Shebbear College once again hosted the annual Youthspeaks competition and four teams from the College and three from Great Torrington School presented speeches on subjects as diverse as Surfing and Fair Trade.

All seven teams were praised by the judges for the high standard they produced, but it was a team from Torrington which ended Shebbear’s 3 year run of success with a speech about a children’s cancer charity. Shebbear’s teams.
